From Drab to Fab!

The street artists of Los Algadones:

We finally got the satellite dish painted. When we were here in 2008 we saw the artists painting the dishes and we just didn’t make it back across the border to get ours done. This year since we were back and forth 2 to 3 times a week for Bill’s dental work, we got our dish painted.

Here is the series of pictures from plain to fabulous.

This wouldn’t make sense for a homeowner with their dish on the roof or one of the RV’s with their dish on the roof – but for us it’s great. We set up the portable dish on the new “marriage saver” tripod and it’s visible to everyone who walks or drives by, and we get to enjoy the artwork daily too.

Here’s the marriage saver stand (before the dish painting).

Posting from Dead Horse Ranch State Park in AZ – safe travels to everyone.

It's really beautiful. Think we'll do that when we go back to Yuma.
